I always meant to put up a brief post about these great peppers I got at Whole Foods last month, but I never did… until now! *cue demonic laughter* mwahahahaAHAHAHA

Unfortunately these shots didn’t come out as well as I might have hoped. I think you can still see the gorgeous striated skin coloration on these bell peppers; they really do look like someone hand painted them, then applied a clear laquer or protective coat. They remind me of the chocolates they make at David Bacco’s place here in Madison, actually, food that looks like finely crafted jewelry.
