Up close, the new body shape really does stand out, and the Prius feels a bit boxier as a result.

The new headlights make the car’s ‘face’ a lot more aggressive, and remind me a bit of the eyes on an Evangelion, though, in fact, the headlight arrangement on our Prius is closer to the eyes on the Eva Unit 02, since the bulbs are arranged vertically, and here they’re in a horizontal row.

Still, something I can’t define says ‘giant robot’ about these headlights. Hmm.
